EHS Coaching Staff

  David Faulkner, Head Coach

David Faulkner is entering his first year as head football coach at Enterprise High School.  He comes to the Wildcats from a successful head coaching tenure at Fairhope High School (2009-2011).  Coach Faulkner began his coaching career at Clarke County High School (1996-1997), where he coached both football and baseball.  He next served in both positions at Alma Braynt, before coaching football at Prattville (2002), Hoover (2003-2006), and Foley (2007-2008).

Coach Faulkner is a graduate of T.R. Miller High School, where he played quarterback on the football team and shortstop on the baseball team.  He earned a bachelor of science (Education) degree from Troy University.

David Faulkner and his wife Christie, a social worker, have three children: Garrett, Grayson, and Caroline.

  Truett Chambers, Tight Ends

Truett Chambers is entering his 27th year with the Wildcats.  He coaches tight ends.  His other duties include teaching driver education and being the film coordinator for the football team.  Coach Chambers has 42 years coaching, with stops at Prattville, Jess Lanier, and Choctawhatchee.  Playing nose guard for the Samford Bulldogs, Coach Chambers earned a bachelor's degree from Samford, followed by a Master's degree from Montevallo.  He and his wife Kathey have two children: Lee and Marilee and a son-in-law Steven (also pictured).

    Logan Colafrancesco, Receivers

Logan Colafrancesco begins his 2nd season with EHS this fall, coaching the Wildcat receivers.  He also teaches physical education at coppinville Middle School.  Coach Cola, as he is known, graduated from John Carroll in 1996, where he played fullback and linebacker.  He earned a BS degree in kinesiology from the University of Montevallo in 2003.  He has coached at Simmons Middle School, John Carroll High School, Moody High School, Spain Park High School, Oxford High School, Oak Mountain High School and Pinson Valley High School.  He has been the offensive coordinator as well as coached quarterbacks and receivers.  Coach Cola is single.

  Buck Hanson, Offensive Line and Run Game Coordinator

Buck Hanson is entering his 23rd season at Enterprise.  He is the offensive line coach and run game coordinator for the Wildcats.  He also teaches driver education adn is an assista nt baseball coach for EHS.  Coach Hanson played on the 1979 state championship football team under legendary coach Bill Bacon while he was a student-athlete at EHS.  He also played offensive line and won a national championship while playing for the Troy Trojans.  Coach Hanson earned bachelor and master's degrees (physical education and educational leadership) from Troy.  He and his wife Missy, an intervention teacher at College Street Elementary, have two children: Jackson and Mattie.

  Wes Pouncey, Safeties

Wes Pouncey is entering his 3rd year with Enterprise football.  He coaches the Wildcat safeties.  Coach Pouncey has also coached the EHS Freshman team adn the basketball at Highland Home and at Coppinville Junior High school.  He attended high school at Highland Home where he played football and basketball.  He received a bachelor's degree from Troy University in physical education.  His wife Kelly is a teacher with the Enterprise School System and their daughter Collin will soon be one year old.

 J.D. Pruitt, Stength & Conditioning Coordinator, Defensive Backs

J.D. Pruitt begins his 2nd season coaching the Wildcats.  He graduated from G.W. Long in 2003 where he played baseball on 3 state championship teams.  Playing baseball on scholarship with Central Alabama Community College and the University of Montevallo, he graduated with a health promotion degree in 2007.  Coach Pruitt was a 23rd round selection by the Oakland A's and spent over 3 years in their system, retiring in 2010 due to an injury.  He served as a graduate strength and conditioning coach at Troy University, where he also assisted with football.  He is scheduled to complete his M.ED. at Troy in December.  His wife Melissa is a 5th grade teacher at Pinedale Elementary.

 

 Marc Sieving, Weight Training/ Defensive Ends

Marc Sieving is entering his 14th season with the Wildcats.  He coaches the defensive line , weight training and EHS Boy's Tennis.  In the past, he has coached linebackers and defensive backs as well as JV basketball.  He earned a bachelor's degree from Troy.  Coach Sieving is a native of Enterprise adn played defensive end for the Wildcats.  He and his wie Angie, a kindergarten teacher at Enterprise Early Education Center, have three children: Madison, McCain and Ty.

 Hayden Stockton, Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach

Hayden Stockton comes to EHS from West End High School where he had served as head football coach since 2008.  In addition to his jobs as defensive coordinator adn assistant head football coach, he will be an EHS physical education instructor.  Coach Stockton graduated from Winston County High School, where he played football, basketball and ran track.  He attended the University of Alabama, punting for the Crimson Tide, and earning a BS in human performance.  He also completed a master's degree in physical education at Alabama State University.  His coaching experience includes Jacksonville State University (1998-2000, receivers coordinator and OLB coach), Prattville (2001-2004, linebackers and special teams), Clay-Chalkville (2005-2006, defensive coordinator), and Stanhope Elmore (2006-2007, defensive coordinator and assistant head coach).  Coach Stockton and his wife, Melissa, have two children: Olivia and Cooper.

  Joe Thornton, running backs/pass game coordinator for the

Joe Thornton enters his 4th season, currently serving as the running backs coach and pass game coordinator for the Wildcats.  He also teaches driver's education.  He came to Enterprise from Goshen High School where he served as head coach and athletic director.  He has 17 years of coaching experience, with 10 years as a head coach.  He has coached at Saks, Daleville and Selma High Schools.  A graduate of Lamar County High School in Vernon, AL, Coach Thornton played football and baseball in high school and signed a football scholarship with Alabama A & M, where he earned a bachelor's degree and 3 letters as a quarterback.  He has four children: Taylor, Karoline, Whitney and Grant.

 Brandon Wilcox, linebackers

Brandon Wilcox begins his 1st year with the Wildcats, coaching linebackers.  He comes to EHS from Dale County High School where he served as offensive line adn linebacker coach as well as head strength and conditioning coach.  He is a graduate of T.R. Miller High School and played tight end and defensive line.  He was  a member of the 2000 4A state championship football team.  He earned a bachelor's degree in social science and secondary education from the University of North Alabama where he played linebacker for the Lions and was a member of teh 2003 Gulf South Conference Championship team.  In 2007, he served as UNA assistant linebacker coach.  He has also had coaching position at Verbena High School (2009-2010, OL, defensive coordinator, head strength and conditioning coach) and Carroll High School (2010-2011, head strength and conditioning coach).  Coach Wilcox and his wife Lauren have 1 child: Faith.

Scott Glenn, Freshman Head Coach

Scott Glenn is entering his 3rd year with Enterprise High School.  He is the 9th grade head football coach.  He also teaches PE at Dauphin Junior High School, where he has served as both assistant and head football coach since 2003.  Coach Glenn is a graduate of EHS adn played football and baseball for the Wildcats.  He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Alabama adn played football for the Lions.  He and his wife Susan have 1 child: Kolby Brooke.

 Shane Corley, Freshman Assistant Coach

Shane Corley is entering his 3rd year with the Enterprise Wildcats.  He is a 9th grade assistant coach.  He also serves as a varsity assistant coach for quarterbacks and running backs.  He attended high school In Brantley, where he played football and baseball.  He graduatetd from Huntingdon college with a degree in history and played tight end for the Huntingdon Hawks.  Coach Corley's fiancee is Lynley Godwin.

 Fernandus Edwards, Freshman assistant coach/defensive backs

This season, Fernandus Edwards begins his 1st year in coaching.  He serves as a freshman defensive backs coach as well as a TAP/ISS instructor aide.  Coach Edwards is a home-grown wildcat, graduating from EHS where he played football adn ran track.  He attended Troy University, majoring in criminal justice and playing football for the Trojans.  Coach Edwards is single.

 Lee Guess, Freshman wide receivers coach

Christopher Lee Guess starts his 1st year coaching the Wildcats this fall. He has served at Faulkner University as wide receivers coach and special team coordinator (2007-2008) and at Hewitt-Trussville as 7th grade offensive coordinator (2010-20110).   He graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School where he played football, basketball and ran track.  He attended Auburn University, playing football adn earning a BS in marketing, plus an MBA adn Business Ed. degree in Marketing Education.  He and his wife Brittney have a daughter, Ava Joy and another child on the way.

 Josh Montel, Freshman assistant coach

Josh Montel begins his 2nd year coaching the Wildcats, taking on the duties of freshman assistant football coach and freshmen head baseball coach.  He graduated from Escambia Academy in 2005, playing football and baseball.  He attended Jeff Davis Community College, where he played baseball for 2 years.  He completed his BS Degree in physical education at the University of Alabama in 2009.  He has worked at Pinedale Elementary for the last 3 years.  He and his fiancee, Hillery Hinton, plan to marry in November.
